The Personnel Committee shall be concerned with personnel practices governing the Association’s staff, and shall prepare job descriptions and salary ranges of staff for submission to the National Steering Committee for approval. The Committee will establish a program designed to prevent the intimidation, harassment and/or termination of members of the Association from their jobs due to political or professional situations created by the member who confronts situations unhealthy or damaging to Black people.


The Committee shall provide materials to agencies and institutions to assist them in establishing and maintaining sound personnel policies and practices for all employees, including training for career development. Special attention should be given to those employees entering the fields of practices without the normally accepted credentials.
